Good work, given to those who do good.
ProSeva is one professional's seva. If you run a trust, a clinic, a school or any work that serves others, I build and look after your digital side. Websites, being found on Google, apps, cloud, ready-to-use tools. Done properly, owned by you, no fee.
Anyone who serves can send a request. I read each one myself and reply within two days. If it is a yes, you get an invitation and we begin.
Why ProSeva?
Good people doing good work should not be hard to find online.
All over India there are trusts, clinics, schools and small groups doing real work every day. Many of them have no proper website. Some have one that does not even open on a phone. When someone searches for them, nothing comes up.
I have spent close to twenty years building software, securing systems and advising founders. That is paid work, and it will remain paid work. ProSeva is the part I give away.
ProSeva is simply my skill, given as seva.
-
The need is real
A trust that feeds two hundred people a day should be easy to find. Today, most such groups are not, and it is not for lack of trying.
-
The skill is already there
Everything a paid agency would do, I already do for a living. Giving some of that time to those who serve costs me hours, not money.
-
One person, fully responsible
There is no team to hide behind. If I take up your work, I am the one who does it, answers for it and hands it over.
About the founder
How does it work?
From request to hand-over, you deal with one person throughout.
No forms that vanish into a queue. No committee. I read your request myself, tell you honestly what can be done, and stay with the work until it is yours.
- 01
Request
Tell me who you serve and what is getting in the way. Ten minutes on the get started form, no jargon needed.
- 02
Review
I read it, look at what you have today, and reply within two days with a plain answer: yes, not now, or no with a reason. A yes comes with an invitation to the console.
- 03
Plan
We agree on what to build first, what can wait, and what you need to arrange from your side.
- 04
Build
The work is done in the open, with you, at the pace your organisation can absorb.
- 05
Hand over
Everything is in your name, documented, and you know how to run it. Then I step back, but stay reachable.
Most work takes four to twelve weeks. Larger applications are broken into stages so something useful is live early.
The full process, including what I ask of youWho is it for?
Anyone whose work is service to others.
Organisations
Nonprofits of any size, registered or not, doing real work on the ground.
- Trusts, foundations, and registered societies
- Schools, clinics, shelters, community kitchens
- Temples, ashrams and religious charities that serve the public
- Small, local, and often overlooked
Individuals who serve
People giving their own time and skill to others, without a business behind it.
- A doctor running free camps or a low-cost clinic
- A teacher coaching children who cannot pay
- A social worker, counsellor or animal rescuer
- Anyone serving quietly who needs to be found
What do we build?
Everything a paid agency would offer. Nothing you will be asked to pay for.
From a first website to a full application on proper cloud infrastructure, plus ready-to-use tools I host and maintain for you. Each area is a discipline in its own right, and I only take on what I can do well.
How I work
Four commitments I hold myself to.
Say no honestly
If I cannot do something well, or do not have the time, I say so, and where possible point you to someone who can.
Build to last
Plain, well-documented, standard technology that the next person can maintain without me.
Leave nothing hostage
Domains, hosting, accounts, and code in your name. You can walk away at any point and lose nothing.
Promise no outcomes
I do not guarantee rankings, traffic, or donations. I show you the direction of change, truthfully.
Reading
Plain-language guides, written for people who would rather be serving.
What a nonprofit actually needs online
Not a portal, not an app, not a social media strategy. Five things, in order, and why most organisations only need the first two.
Why digital trust matters more for organisations that serve
A donor, a volunteer, and a family in need all check the same things before they act. Here is what they look for.
Before you build an app for your cause
The questions to answer first, and the simpler things that usually work better.
Is it really free?
Yes. ProSeva's work is free, and so are the tools it hosts for you. Some things have real third-party costs, a domain name for example. I tell you about those before anything starts, they are usually small, and they are always paid by you, in your name, so that you own them.
Who actually does the work?
One person. ProSeva is founded and run by a single professional with about twenty years in software, security and systems. There is no team, no agency and no volunteer pool behind it. That is also why the number of engagements at any time is small. Read about the founder
How do I get started, and is it invitation only?
Anyone who serves others can send a request. I also invite organisations whose work I come across. Either way, I read it myself, reply within two days, and if it is a yes you receive an invitation to the ProSeva console where the work is planned and tracked. Because one person does everything, I take up only what I can finish well, so the honest answer is sometimes "not yet".
Who decides whether we qualify?
I do, and I read every request myself. The test is simple: is your work service to others, and would a proper digital presence help that work? Legal structure matters less than purpose. If the answer is no, I tell you why.
What happens after the work is finished?
Everything is handed over in your name, documented, and explained. You are not tied to me. If something breaks or you need the next thing, you can ask again, but you are equally free to take it anywhere.
I am a professional. Can I volunteer with ProSeva?
Not at present. ProSeva is deliberately a one-person seva, and I am not taking on contributors. If you want to give your own skills to those who serve, the best thing you can do is start, in your own name, with one organisation near you.
